EAF door zone <p>EAF door zone:The design and selection of magnesia carbon bricks at the furnace door should be in accordance with the working characteristics of the electric furnace and the deformation trend of the overall refractory material. For the specific product selection, please refer to the product page CEBMCD series products.</p> <p>The upper part of the furnace wall has its own positional characteristics compared with other positions of the electric furnace. For the product design and selection of the modified part, please refer to the CEB series of products on the product page.</p> <p>The slag line area is similar to the hot spot area and belongs to the area with higher risk. Since the life of the furnace wall mainly depends on the degree of damage of the hot spot and the slag area, it should be concerned about the wear of the slag line area as much as the hot area. For this reason, Constit has introduced a special magnesia carbon brick suitable for this part. For details, please refer to The CEBMCS series of products on the product page.</p> <p>Hot spots formation is due to the concentration of incident radiation in several parts of the furnace, typically in some regions of the shell. Hot spots are potentially dangerous because its formation leads to sudden perforations of the WCP which may create catastrophic situations. CONSTEEL has provided corresponding product solutions to protect the furnace from this risk.
